This Privacy Policy describes how Studio Lightchild LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Versepace mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to handling your personal data securely and transparently, in compliance with applicable privacy laws and the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:

  • Account details — email address, first name, and authentication credentials when you sign up or sign in (including via Google or Apple)
  • Profile information — preferences and settings you configure in the App
  • Prayer requests — text of prayer submissions, timestamps, and whether you chose to post anonymously
  • Reading plan data — plans you start or create, progress, reminder schedules, and custom plan content

Information collected automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Usage data — features you use, navigation patterns, and interaction timestamps
  • Search activity — queries you enter when searching for reading plans, used to improve discoverability
  • Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Push notification tokens — if you enable plan reminders

We do not sell your personal information to advertising networks or data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and secure sessions
  • Deliver reading plans, reminders, and progress tracking
  • Display approved prayer requests on the community Prayer Wall
  • Send notifications when someone prays for your request (if enabled)
  • Moderate community content and enforce safety guidelines
  • Improve plan discovery, search, and app performance
  • Communicate important updates, including required app updates
  • Respond to support requests and legal inquiries

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the App. These services process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — user authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure. Database access is protected by row-level security policies.
  • Google Sign-In — optional authentication (if you choose to sign in with Google)
  • Apple Sign-In — optional authentication (if you choose to sign in with Apple)
  • Push notification services — delivery of plan reminder notifications through your device's operating system

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Prayer Wall Safety and Moderation

Because the Prayer Wall includes user-submitted content visible to the community, all prayer submissions pass through automated screening before publication. Content that violates our community guidelines may be blocked, delayed, or flagged for human review.

Users can report prayer requests they believe are inappropriate. Reports are reviewed by our team and may result in content removal or account action.

6. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You have control over your information:

  • Account settings — update your profile and notification preferences in the App
  • Prayer requests — view and manage your submissions in My Prayer Requests
  • Account deletion — delete your account from Profile settings in the App. This initiates removal of your account data from our systems.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's features. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems, though some information may be retained for a limited period as required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@versepace.com and we will take steps to delete that information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
