1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Versepace. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Versepace mobile application (the "App"), operated by Studio Lightchild LLC, a limited liability company in the United States ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To access certain features — including reading plans, custom plan creation, the prayer wall, and account-based progress — you must create an account. You may register with email and password, or sign in with a supported third-party provider such as Google or Apple.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current account information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.

3. User Content and Community Guidelines

The App includes community features, including a Prayer Wall where users may submit prayer requests. Any content you submit ("User Content") must comply with these Terms and applicable law.

You agree not to submit content that is:

  • Abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or threatening
  • Sexually explicit or obscene
  • Deceptive, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading
  • Promotional, spam, or unrelated to genuine prayer requests
  • In violation of any third party's rights

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or harmful content. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban from the App.

4. Moderation, Reporting, and Usage Limits

Content moderation

To maintain a safe community, prayer submissions are subject to automated review before publication. We reserve the right to delay, withhold, or remove content that violates our guidelines or triggers safety protocols. Sensitive content may be held for additional human review.

Reporting

Users may report prayer requests they believe violate community guidelines. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or restricting accounts.

Usage limits

To prevent spam and protect platform stability, we may enforce reasonable daily limits on prayer submissions and other activity. You agree not to circumvent or abuse these limits.

5. Updates and Availability

We may update the App, modify features, or perform maintenance at any time. We reserve the right to require you to install the latest version of the App to continue using certain features. The App is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

6. Intellectual Property

Our content

The App, including its design, branding, curated reading plans, user interface, and underlying software, is owned by Studio Lightchild LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of prayer requests and other content you create. By submitting content to the Prayer Wall, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content within the App and related services, solely for the purpose of operating the community features.

Bible translations

Scripture text displayed in the App is provided by third-party licensors (including Berean Standard Bible, World English Bible, American Standard Version, and King James Version) and is subject to their respective licenses. Attribution and license details are available within the App.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Versepace is a devotional and community tool. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional counseling advice. Prayer requests and community content reflect the views of individual users, not Studio Lightchild LLC.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Lightchild LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or reliance on any content within it.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account through the Profile settings in the App, which will initiate removal of your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Studio Lightchild LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
